CLUB DISCIPLINE monitoring system
EMJFL is committed to creating a safe, respectful and positive football environment for every player, coach, referee and spectator.
The Club Discipline Monitoring System allows the League to identify concerns, support clubs in addressing poor practice and take consistent action where unacceptable behaviour continues.
The grading applies to the club as a whole rather than an individual team. Clubs will be informed of any concerns and given the opportunity to take the necessary action before further measures are considered.

Finance and Discipline gradings are monitored separately. A club may therefore hold a different grading under each system.
The system
The CDMS is based on a 'traffic light' approach. Each CLUB is given a grading of RED, AMBER or GREEN. It is important to know, that it is a club, and it is the club that will faces suspension from footballing activity with our league should they fail to meet the expected disciplinary standards, not individual teams.
GREEN GRADING
All clubs begin the season with a green grading. A club will remain green while the League receives no reports of poor practice, unacceptable conduct or repeated breaches of the expected standards.
AMBER GRADING
A club may move to amber where reports of poor practice or unacceptable behaviour are received. The club will be informed of the concern and required to explain what action has been taken. Once the League is satisfied that the matter has been addressed, the club may return to green.
RED GRADING
A club may move to red following persistent poor practice, repeated unacceptable behaviour or a serious breach of the FA or EMJFL Codes of Conduct. The club will then have 7 days to attend a hearing or take the action required by the League. Failure to do so may result in all fixtures across the club being suspended.
