CLUB DISCIPLINE monitoring system
We are dedicated to maintaining integrity in grassroots football and creating an inclusive environment where children feel safe, welcome and free to express themselves through football.
Central to our mission is ensuring that every club adheres to the highest standards of conduct both on and off the pitch. To maintain fairness and impartiality, there are times when we must take decisive action, including the suspension of a club's participation due to disciplinary issues.

​To ensure transparency and consistency in these decisions, we have implemented a traffic light club monitoring system, which is detailed below. This system helps us manage and address any concerns proactively, ensuring the integrity and spirit of the game are upheld.

The system
The CDMS is based on a 'traffic light' approach. Each CLUB is given a grading of RED, AMBER or GREEN. It is important to know, that it is a club, and it is the club that will faces suspension from footballing activity with our league should they fail to meet the expected disciplinary standards, not individual teams.
GREEN GRADING
ALL clubs will start with a green grading at the beginning of the season. They will remain there throughout the season, unless reports of ill discipline, bad practice or poor behaviour are received by EMJFL Officials.
AMBER GRADING
Clubs will move into the amber grading when reports of bad practice or poor behaviour have been received. Clubs will then be given the opportunity to rectify these issues and report back to EMJFL the action taken. If EMJFL Officials believe the correct provisions have been put in place or issues dealt with accordingly, the club will move back into the green segmentation.
RED GRADING
Clubs will move into the red banding when persistent poor practice or behaviour is reported and goes unchallenged and rectified by the Club in question. Serious breaches of FA Codes of Conduct or an incident deemed wholly unacceptable by EMJFL will also result in being moved into the red segment. Clubs will then have 7 days to either attend a hearing or take direct appropriate action. Failure to do so will result in the whole club having its fixtures suspended.
