CLUB finance monitoring system
EMJFL uses a Club Finance Monitoring System to help ensure that League fees and other payments are made fairly and by the required deadlines.
The traffic-light system allows the League to identify payment concerns early, give clubs the opportunity to resolve any outstanding issues and take consistent action where payments remain unpaid.
The grading applies to the whole club rather than an individual team. Where financial issues remain unresolved, fixtures across the club may be suspended in accordance with the EMJFL By-Laws.

Finance and Discipline gradings are monitored separately. A club may therefore hold a different grading under each system.
The system
The Club Finance Monitoring System uses GREEN, AMBER and RED gradings. Each grading applies to the club as a whole rather than an individual team. If a club fails to meet the required financial standards or resolve outstanding payments, fixtures across the club may be suspended.
GREEN GRADING
All clubs begin the season with a green grading. A club will remain green while League fees and any other payments due are made by the required deadlines.
AMBER GRADING
A club will move to amber when a payment is late or an agreed payment arrangement has not been followed. The club will be contacted and given the opportunity to bring its account up to date. Once the matter has been resolved, the club may return to green.
RED GRADING
A club may move to red following repeated missed payments, significant outstanding fees or a failure to resolve concerns raised while graded amber. The club will then have 7 days to bring its account up to date or agree an appropriate resolution with the League. Failure to do so may result in the suspension of fixtures across the club.
